 Merganser's Chief Mahomes (QAA)
“Merganser’s Chief Mahomes QAA” is a hard charging retriever machine. He lives to retrieve and absolutely loves taking high flying leaps into the water. Mahomes is very social and gets along with people and other dogs. He is handsome with good conformation. Mahomes is Qualified All-Age in AKC field trials with a win in 2025. Mahomes is a younger brother to “FC-AFC Whitewater Last Frontier-Wyatt” who was a 2025 AKC National Retriever Club finalist. I plan on competing with Mahomes in AKC Qualifying and All-Age stakes in 2026.
Mahomes’ sire, “FC-AFC McKinley First Ascender” (Hudson) qualified for 13 Nationals and is a 4-time AKC National Retriever Club Finalist with 40 consecutive series clean, and retired with 134.5 All-Age points. Hudson’s sire is 2010 “NAFC-FC-AFC Fourleaf’s Ice Breaker” (Buster). Hudson comes from US pheasant pointing championship, show lines, and English Labradors imported by Cashman Kennels. Hudson pointed as well and excelled in duck marshes and pheasant fields.
Mahomes’ dam is “Davis’s Leaping Over The Moon QAA” (Luna). Luna’s sire is 2015 “NFC-FC-AFC Keeno’s Gizmo” (Gizmo). Luna is a fast and agile retriever. Luna is Qualified All-Age with 2 AKC Qualifiying second place finishes. |
