Merganser's Little Liza Jane

Liza is a half-sister to Matlock (same mother) and a littermate sister to AFC Fire-N-Ice's Whistlin Dixie. Liza lived with her owners, Jim and Linda Nehl in the heart of South Dakota pheasant country and retrieved an average of 350 to 400 pheasants a season. I can't say enough about Liza's intensity, drive, and endurance in the field. Dianne brought Liza back to Oregon at age 10 where Liza enjoyed her “full time house dog” retirement. Liza swam almost every day of the year until her death at age 12.5 on December 29, 2009. Liza is one of those special dogs that we will always remember.
