Merganser's Favre MH, WCX

Merganser's Favre MH, WCX was our pheasant hunting machine. I received Favre when he was 9 weeks old, picked him up in Portland, and drove to North Dakota for a two-week hunting trip. Favre was immediately driving through cover, swimming across streams, and retrieving pheasants with the big dogs. He was a natural.

Favre completed his Master Hunter title with five straight passes in 2014. Favre achieved a Working Certificate Excellent. Favre also achieved a fourth-place finish in a field trial Qualifying stake.

Favre is a son of one of my favorite dogs of all time, Merganser's Hacker MH, WC, CGC. Favre was a well-behaved mellow house dog. He got along with children, adults, and other dogs. Favre weighed 72 pounds. Favre enjoyed his retirement as a full-time spoiled house dog and Alex’s constant companion. Goodbye our friend. We miss you so much.
